Vancouver’s Fairmont Pacific Rim was the backdrop for “The Art of Design”. The show, now in its 8th year, celebrates the best of Canadian Fashion from East to West and is a partnership with Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards (CAFA) and Air Canada.
The 2019 “The Art of Design” lineup boasted mother-daughter duo Catherine and Eva Regehr for Maison CARAS (Stephan Caras and Catherine Regehr), Toronto sisters Naomi and Devorah Shapiro for Rock ’N Karma, Vancouver’s Jason Matlo and design assistant Wen-Chee Liu for Matlo Atelier, and Montreal’s Maram Aboul Enein for MARAM.
Hair was designed by Martin Hillier from The Lounge Hair Studio for Electric London Canada and make-up was provided by Stellar by Monika Deol.
